Welcome to Maranatha Village
Maranatha Village is a unique ministry built primarily for Independent/Regular Baptist Church members, looking for fellowship with like "Born Again Christians" in a retirement setting.
This is not just another housing development: it is a place where Christians come together to live reasonably, enjoy fellowship and serve the Lord as He enables. The Village Motto is "Helping One Another ‘til Jesus Comes". Neighbors and residents, who volunteer to augment the Staff, make this possible. Maranatha Village is for those who are not retired from serving the Lord.
The Village functions under the direction of a Corporate Board of Directors, with its own elected officers, all chosen from among current residents. The Manager and Staff are responsible for the operation of the Village with 137 Apartments, 100 Mobile Homes, 213 Acres of land and several Service Buildings.
The following facilities are available for anyone to get acquainted with the Village and better understand life at Maranatha. They are also used by relatives and guests of current residents, when requested and are available. Reservation confirmations are made through the Village Office.
Promotional Apartments:
They are fully furnished apartments that are available for use during the winter season to let people really know what life is like at Maranatha. Apply early for there are usually more applications than apartments available. The reservations are made in the fall.
RV Park:
There are 20 sites with electric, water and sewer. The RV Park is for the use of friends and relatives of current residents and prospective residents that wish to spend some time in the Village to determine the possibility of future residency.
Guest House:
There are 6 rooms including kitchenette with refrigerator and microwave, bathroom, a living area with either a queen or two twin beds, table & chairs, & TV provided. The length of visit may be limited due to the availability of rooms.
Activities :
Maranatha Baptist Church, whose facilities are located within the Village, conducts regular Worship Services on Sunday & Wednesday evening and is readily available for residents and non-residents of the area. Morning Devotions are held five days a week with Bible study and Prayer. Attendance is purely voluntary at all services.

Hamman Hall, a Fellowship Center, is jointly maintained by Maranatha Baptist Church and Maranatha Village. Both use the facility for meetings, dinners, and special occasions sponsored by either the Village or Church. There is also a well managed Church Library in Hamman Hall, which is available to Village residents.
The heated Swimming Pool & Spa is a fellowship center for all residents and guests. It is used for the therapy of water exercise and heat treatment.
Fellowship Acres, an unique 18 hole Golf Course covering 45 Acres, along with driving range, is maintained by residents of the village.
Other activities include Boating & Fishing in three lakes, Health & Fitness Center, Horseshoes, Memorial Park Picnic Area, Shuffleboard, Bocce Ball and Washoes.
Our residents enjoy a great amount of freedom and security. There are more than two miles of private, paved roadways in the village on which our residents can walk, jog or ride their bikes.
